The location is utterly perfect, just a stone's throw from the Uppsala Cathedral and surrounded by local attractions within walking distance.

We faced issues with parking since it wasn't included, and the staff at check-in exhibited a patronizing attitude when we arrived with our dog without prior notice. The breakfast area was unbearably crowded with limited choices, making it uncomfortable to enjoy the meal. we felt unwelcome and the amenities promised, like the kettle for tea, were absent in our room.

i had a fantastic stay at akademihotellet! the breakfast was rich and tasty, especially the vitamin shot. the sauna and small gym were also great additions. the location is excellent, just a short walk from a nice pub for dining, and my room had a lovely view of the cathedral.

Solo traveler classic charm
The staff were incredibly friendly, especially Anders and Jessica, they made check-in process so easy even late at night. The room was spacious with a very clean mattress that made me feel rested, my son even thought it was home and wanted to stay longer.
It wasn't inexpensive but when you consider the vintage vibe and comfort it was still fine.
